Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Synhora ("we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our sports classes or sessions management platform.
What we collect
We collect information you provide when registering (email, name, phone, profile type), when creating or managing classes and organizations (schedules, disciplines, participant lists), and when using the platform (usage data, device information). For organizations we may store legal name and contact details. We use Firebase Authentication for sign-in; authentication data is processed according to Google's policies.
How we use it
We use your data to provide the service (scheduling, enrollments, calendar, professional and organization management), to communicate with you about your account and classes, to improve the platform, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data retention
We retain your account and class data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your data; some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. audit logs).
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your profile data through the app. For other requests or questions about this policy, contact us using the details in the Legal notice. In Argentina you may exercise rights under Law 25.326 (access, rectification, suppression, update, and confidentiality, as defined therein) and, where applicable, lodge complaints with the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP). Residents of the European Economic Area may exercise GDPR rights with the supervisory authority in their country of residence or work. Brazilian residents may have rights under the LGPD.
Legal framework (Argentina and international)
Argentina: Law 25.326 on Personal Data Protection, Decree 1558/2001, and AAIP regulations apply. European Union users may be covered by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Brazil may apply Law 13.709/2018 (LGPD). Council of Europe standards, OECD guidance, and privacy-by-design practices may also be relevant where not overridden by mandatory local law.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies or local storage where needed for signed-in sessions, language preference, or fraud mitigation. Third-party services (e.g. Google / Firebase) may use their own identifiers; please read their policies. You can restrict cookies in your browser, knowing the service may not work fully.
International transfers
Processing may occur outside Argentina, including the United States or other countries where subprocessors operate. We use reasonable contractual and organisational safeguards. By continuing to use Synhora you acknowledge such flows where lawful under applicable rules.
Security
We apply reasonable measures for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (encryption in transit, access controls, authentication). No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital age in your country). If you believe we collected a child’s data without a valid basis, contact us to request deletion.
Organizations and professionals
If you run an organization or teach classes, you are responsible for transparency and lawful bases regarding participants whose data you enter in Synhora, and for notifying breaches when required in your relationship with those data subjects.
Terms of Service
By using Synhora you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are a consumer, non-waivable rights under your country’s public policy remain in force.
Acceptable use
You must use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with your role (participant, professional, organization, or administrator). You may not misuse the platform, harass others, or upload false or harmful content. Organizations and professionals are responsible for the accuracy of class information and for their relations with participants.
Accounts and roles
You register as a participant, professional, organization, or administrator. Organizations must be claimed or requested through our process. Professionals must be invited by organizations to create classes or sessions. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Content and liability
Class schedules, participant data, and other content you add remain your responsibility. We provide the platform as is; we are not liable for disputes between users, accuracy of third-party content, or indirect damages. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms and the Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless required law demands separate consent or specific notice. The revision date is shown next to “Last updated” on this page.
Consumer protection and foreign law
If you live outside Argentina, local consumer laws (e.g. in the EU or US states) may apply alongside Argentine rules where mandatory. Organizations and professionals remain responsible to their customers for prices, cancellations, and refund policies agreed outside this platform.
Payments and economic relationship
Synhora provides scheduling and registration tools; unless we explicitly state otherwise in a future flow, payments between participants and venues or professionals are agreed and executed directly between those parties. We are not a payment agent or guarantor of private contracts between users.
Complaints and disputes
We encourage direct dialogue and mediation. Argentine consumers may use remedies under Law 24.240 and provincial or municipal bodies. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, interpretation follows the Legal notice on governing law and courts.
